Terms and Conditions
Do you have a software requirement?
Even if you do not have a software team on your own or you would like to outsource part of the job, everything starts with a requirement. You must have some knowledge of what the software is all about and what part of the project should be developed. A requirements document is the first thing that a prospective customer provides us.
Taxes and VAT
If the clients are outside of Bangladesh, no taxes or VAT are changed. Bangladesh government does not charge VAT or Taxes on foreign currency. However, local clients should be aware that VAT must be added on top of all the fees and dues.
After we get the requirements and we study, we might be able to give an idea of time estimate to complete the first Alpha phase of the project. Pricing is in man hours. Each man-hour starts with the minimum $20/hour. A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required to get the project started. The clients are billed every week with a Net-30 payment rule.
Delivery of the software depends on how the clients are engaged into the project. Usually, if the client is a software development company by itself, we share the same source control system so the delivery is instantaneous. On the other hand, if the client is not directly engaged, we will deliver the software in whatever term the client like us and in whatever form they like.
There are no refunds on man-hours. However, refunds may be authorized on defective items withing the first 14 days after purchases. A restocking fee of 15% will be deducted. Refunds will not be given after 14 days.
Software developed by Jence for the client will carry ONE YEAR bug fix warranty. All bugs must be identified by the client withing this period. No additional features could be added unless the client pays for the required change. For all products sold by Jence will carry manufacturer's warranty. The door locks, NFC chips, etc will have limited manufacturer's warranty.
After the Net-30 period, if the payment is not received from the client, any further development could be stopped and if no assurance of payment is received, the Jence has the right to terminate the project. On the other hand, the client may cancel the project at any time. Doing so will lose the 20% deposit which the client had committed before.
